York Precision Plastics (YPP) began operations in Australia in 1969 as K-Lite Pty Ltd, and has since become the leading manufacturer of prismatic lens panels and wraparound lighting diffusers in Australia.
Beginning first with smooth acrylic sheet in 1990, YPP’s manufacturing base has grown to encompass a variety of smooth and embossed thermoplastic sheeting such as impact modified PMMA, ABS, ASA, HIPS and PETG. These materials are utilized extensively throughout the sign, fabrication, industrial, skylight, gaming and automotive industry sectors. YPP also compliments its locally-manufactured operations with a selective range of imported components and products.
York Precision Plastics employs over 60 people and occupies a hectare of factory, warehouse and office space bordering the M5 motorway in the south-western Sydney suburb of Riverwood, New South Wales. In addition to its Sydney operations, YPP has sales offices and warehouses in Sunshine West, Victoria; Brendale, Queensland; and East Tamaki, New Zealand.
